Adhyāya 78 — Bhīṣma’s Advance, Duryodhana’s Rally, and Concurrent Duels (भीष्मस्याभ्युद्यमः, दुर्योधनस्योत्साहवचनम्, विविधयुद्धवर्णनम्)
कृतवर्मा तु सहित: काम्बोजवरबाद्निकै: । शिरस्यासीन्नरश्रेष्ठ: श्रेष्ठ: सर्वधनुष्मताम्
kṛtavarmā tu sahitaḥ kāmbojavarabāhlikaiḥ | śirasy āsīn naraśreṣṭhaḥ śreṣṭhaḥ sarvadhanuṣmatām ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ ကမ္ဗောဇနှင့် ဘာဟ္လီကတို့၏ အကောင်းဆုံး စစ်သူရဲများနှင့်အတူ ကೃတဝರ್ಮာသည် စစ်တန်းဖွဲ့ (ဗျူဟ) ၏ ရှေ့ဆုံးခေါင်းပိုင်း၌ နေရာယူ하였다။ မြားပစ်သူတို့အနက် အထူးထင်ရှားသည့် လူသူရဲအမြတ်တည်းဟူသော သူသည် ရှေ့တန်း၌ ရပ်တည်ကာ ကౌရဝဘက်၏ စစ်အင်အားနှင့် ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုကို စနစ်တကျ စုစည်းထားသည့် အစီအစဉ်ကို ထင်ဟပ်စေပြီး စစ်၏ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုကို တိတိကျကျ စီမံကိန်းချထားသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်စေ하였다။
