Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)
चेदिमत्स्यकरूषाश्न॒ भीमसेनपदानुगा:
sañjaya uvāca | cedimatsyakarūṣāś ca bhīmasenapadānugāḥ | samare niṣādānāṃ ca teṣāṃ rājñāṃś ca jaghnire | tataḥ senā-dvayor ghoraṃ yuddham āsīd bhayāvaham ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– «ဘီမစေန၏ ခြေရာကိုလိုက်၍ စေဒီ၊ မတ်စျ၊ ကရူရှတို့၏ ခ္ෂတ္တရိယ စစ်သည်များသည် စစ်မြေပြင်သို့ တိုးဝင်ကာ နိသာဒတို့နှင့် သူတို့၏ မင်းများကို တိုက်ခိုက်လေ၏။ ထို့နောက် နှစ်ဖက်တပ်အကြား အလွန်ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်ကောင်းသော၊ ရက်စက်ကြမ်းကြုတ်သော တိုက်ပွဲကြီး ပေါက်ကွဲလာသည်—အရှိန်နှင့် သစ္စာတရား၏ ဆွဲငင်မှုကြောင့် မထိန်းချုပ်နိုင်သလောက် ဖြစ်သွားသော စစ်ပွဲတည်း»။
