भीष्मधनंजयद्वैरथम्
Bhīṣma–Dhanaṃjaya Duel and the Opening Clash
तथा प्रवृत्ते संग्रामे धनुरुद्यम्य दंशित: । अभिपत्य महाबाहुर्भीष्मो भीमपराक्रम:
tathā pravṛtte saṅgrāme dhanur udyamya daṃśitaḥ | abhipatya mahābāhur bhīṣmo bhīmaparākramaḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– စစ်ပွဲသည် ထိုသို့ အပြင်းအထန် စတင်သွားသောအခါ၊ လက်မောင်းကြီး၍ ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် သတ္တိရှိသော ဘီရှ္မသည် လေးကို မြှောက်ကာ ကာဝတ်ကို ဝတ်ဆင်ပြီး ရုတ်တရက် ရှေ့သို့ တိုးဝင်လေ၏။ ထို့နောက် ရန်သူတပ်၏ ရှေ့တန်းသူရဲကောင်းများပေါ်သို့ မြှားမိုးကို သွန်းလောင်းလေ၏။
