Chapter 47: Krauñca-vyūha Deployment and Conch-Signals
Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
अनुमान्य यथाशान्त्र यस्तु युध्येन्महत्तरै: । ध्रुवस्तस्य जयो युद्धे भवेदिति मतिर्मम
anumānya yathāśāstraṁ yas tu yudhyen mahattaraiḥ | dhruvas tasya jayo yuddhe bhaved iti matir mama ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြော၏—“ရှာစတြာ၏ အမိန့်အတိုင်း အကြီးအကဲဂုဏ်သရေရှိသူတို့ထံမှ ခွင့်ပြုချက်ကို ရယူပြီးမှ စစ်ပွဲဝင်သူအတွက် ထိုစစ်ပွဲ၌ အောင်မြင်ခြင်းသည် မလွဲမသွေ ဖြစ်မည်ဟု ငါ ယုံကြည်၏။”
संजय उवाच
Victory is linked to dharmic procedure: acting in accordance with śāstra and with the sanction of respected elders is presented as a decisive ethical and auspicious condition for success in war.
Sañjaya offers his reflective assessment about the conduct of warfare, stating to the listener that a combatant who fights only after proper authorization from venerable superiors, as prescribed by śāstra, can be regarded as certain to prevail.
