उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
न वैनतेयो गरुड: प्रशंसति महाजनम् । दृष्टवा सुपर्णोडपचितिं महत्या अपि भारत,भारत! सुन्दर पंखोंवाले विनतानन्दन गरुड़ विशाल सेनाका भी विनाश होता देखकर अधिक जनसमूहकी प्रशंसा नहीं करते हैं
na vainateyo garuḍaḥ praśaṃsati mahājanam | dṛṣṭvā suparṇoḍapacitiṃ mahatyā api bhārata ||
ဗျာသက မိန့်တော်မူသည်— «ဝိနတာ၏ လှပသောတောင်ပံပိုင် သားတော် ဗိုင်နတေယ ဂရုဍတောင် များပြားသော လူစုလူဝေးကို မချီးကျူး။ အို ဘာရတ၊ အင်အားကြီးသော တပ်အစုကြီးတစ်ခု ပျက်စီးသွားသည်ကို မြင်ပြီးနောက်တောင် ပညာရှိတို့သည် အရေအတွက်သာကို မဂုဏ်ပြုကြ; သူတို့သည် အမြင်မှန်နှင့် သင့်လျော်သော အကျင့်ကို အရေအတွက်ထက် ပိုတန်ဖိုးထားကြသည်»။
