उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
वृक्षानुन्मथ्य वान्त्युग्रा वाता: शर्करकर्षिण: । आभग्ना: सुमहावातैरशनीभि: समाहता:
vṛkṣān unmathya vānty ugrā vātāḥ śarkarakarṣiṇaḥ | ābhagnāḥ sumahāvātair aśanībhiḥ samāhatāḥ ||
ဗျာသက အပမင်္ဂလာ နိမိတ်များကို ဖော်ပြသည်—ပြင်းထန်သော လေမုန်တိုင်းများသည် သစ်ပင်များကို အမြစ်မှ ဆွဲထုတ်ကာ ကျောက်ခဲသဲမှုန်တို့ကိုပါ ဆွဲယူသွားသည်။ လေပြင်းကြီးများက အရာရာကို ချိုးဖျက်ကွဲကြေစေပြီး မိုးကြိုးတံခွန်ဖြင့် ထိုးနှက်ခံရသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သည်—စစ်ပွဲမတိုင်မီနှင့် အဓမ္မ၏ လှုပ်ရှားမှုအကြိုတွင် ကမ္ဘာလောက မငြိမ်မသက် ဖြစ်နေကြောင်း ပြသသော လက္ခဏာများပင်။
