उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
विष्वग्वाताश्न वान्त्युग्रा रजो नाप्युपशाम्यति । अभीक्षणं कम्पते भूमिरर्क राहुरुपैति च
viṣvag vātāś ca vānty ugrā rajo nāpy upaśāmyati | abhīkṣṇaṁ kampate bhūmir arkaṁ rāhur upaiti ca ||
ဗျာသက မဟာစစ်ပွဲမတိုင်မီ အမင်္ဂလာလက္ခဏာများကို ပြောကြားသည်—အရပ်လေးမျက်နှာလုံးတွင် ကြမ်းတမ်းသောလေမုန်တိုင်းများ တိုက်ခတ်၍ ဖုန်မှုန့်မငြိမ်မသက် မကျသေး; မြေကြီးသည် မကြာခဏ တုန်လှုပ်နေ; ရာဟု (Rāhu) သည် နေကို ဖမ်းယူမည့်သကဲ့သို့ နေဘက်သို့ နီးကပ်လာနေသည်။ ဤလက္ခဏာများက စစ်ပွဲကို ကမ္ဘာလောကအတွက် သီလဓမ္မအကျပ်အတည်းတစ်ရပ်အဖြစ် ဖော်ပြပြီး—ကရှတ်ရိယအာဏာသည် ညီအစ်ကိုသတ်ဖြတ်သည့် ဖျက်ဆီးမှုသို့ လှည့်သွားသောအခါ သဘာဝတရားတိုင်တိုင်ကပင် အစီအစဉ်ပျက်ယွင်းမှုကို ထင်ဟပ်ပြသကာ ဓမ္မသည် အဆုံးစွန်အထိ ဖိအားခံရကြောင်းကို ညွှန်ပြသည်။
