Bhīṣma-nipāta-saṃvāda — Sañjaya’s Report of Bhīṣma’s Fall (भीष्मनिपातसंवादः)
के<रक्षन् दक्षिण चक्र भीष्मस्यामिततेजस: । पृष्ठतः के परान् वीरानपासेधन् यतव्रता:
ke rakṣan dakṣiṇaṃ cakraṃ bhīṣmasyāmitatejasaḥ | pṛṣṭhataḥ ke parān vīrān apāsedhan yatavratāḥ ||
ဓృతရာෂ္ဋ္ရက ပြောသည်– «အတိုင်းမသိ တေဇောဓာတ်ရှိသော ဘီရှ္မ၏ ရထားညာဘက်ဘီးကို မည်သူတို့ ကာကွယ်ခဲ့သနည်း။ ထို့ပြင် နောက်ဘက်တွင် တည်နေ၍ သစ္စာဝန်ခံမှု ခိုင်မာသော သူတို့က ရန်သူဘက် သူရဲကောင်းများကို ရှေ့တိုးမလာစေရန် မည်သူတို့ တားဆီးခဲ့သနည်း»။
