ततो द्रोणाय निहतं भीष्ममाचष्ट कौरव: । द्रोणस्तत्राप्रियं श्रुत्वा मुमोह भरतर्षभ
tato droṇāya nihataṃ bhīṣmam ācāṣṭa kauravaḥ | droṇas tatrāpriyaṃ śrutvā mumoha bharatarṣabha ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ ထို့နောက် ကောရဝတစ်ဦးက ဒ్రోဏထံသို့ ဘီရှ္မ သတ်ဖြတ်ခံရကြောင်း သတင်းပို့၏။ စစ်မြေပြင်ပေါ်၌ ထိုမနှစ်မြို့ဖွယ် သတင်းကို ကြားသော် ဒ్రోဏသည် ဝမ်းနည်းကြေကွဲ၍ မူးလဲသွား၏—အဘိုးကြီးသည် ဓမ္မနှင့် စစ်စည်းကမ်း၏ တိုင်တန်းတစ်ခုဖြစ်သော်လည်း အဓမ္မက မောင်းနှင်သည့် စစ်ပွဲအတွင်း၌ပင် သူ၏ ကျဆုံးမှုသည် အလွန်ပြင်းထန်သော ထိခိုက်မှုဖြစ်ခဲ့သည်။
