छन््दतो मृत्युरित्येवं तस्य चास्तु वरस्तथा । धारयिष्ये ततः प्राणानुत्सगें नियते सति
chandato mṛtyur ity evaṃ tasya cāstu varas tathā | dhārayiṣye tataḥ prāṇān utsarge niyate sati ||
သဉ္ဇယက ဆိုသည်– «‘သေခြင်းသည် ငါရွေးချယ်သည့် အချိန်၌သာ လာပါစေ’ ဟူ၍ ထိုသို့ ဆုံးဖြတ်ထားသဖြင့် ထိုကောင်းချီးသည် အမှန်တကယ် တည်မြဲပါစေ။ ထို့ကြောင့် အသက်စွန့်ရမည့် သတ်မှတ်အချိန် ရောက်လာသည်အထိ ငါသည် အသက်ရှူသက်တမ်းကို ထိန်းထားမည်»။
