Transliteration

kuśastambaḥ kuśadvīpe madhye janapadaiḥ saha | sampūjyate śālmalidvīpe śālmalī ca nṛpa-nareśvara ||

Translation

စဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ကုသဒွီပ၏ အလယ်၌ «ကုသစတမ္ဗ» ဟုခေါ်သော ကုသမြက်အစုကြီးတစ်ခု ရှိပြီး ထိုဒေသ၏ ပြည်နယ်များနေထိုင်သူတို့က ၎င်းကို ပူဇော်ကြ၏။ ထိုနည်းတူပင်၊ အရှင်မင်းကြီးတို့အနက် မင်းမြတ်တော်၊ ရှာလ္မလီဒွီပ၌ «ရှာလ္မလီ» (ပိုးချည်ပင်/စိမ်းကော်တန်ပင်) ကို ပူဇော်ကြ၏။
