तामापतन्तीं सहसा हेमपट्टवि भूषिताम् । शरै: पञ्चाशता द्रोणो वारयामास संयुगे,उस स्वर्णपत्रविभूषित गदाको सहसा अपनी ओर आती देख द्रोणाचार्यने युद्धस्थलमें पचासों बाण मारकर उसे दूर गिरा दिया

tām āpatantīṃ sahasā hemapaṭṭavibhūṣitām |
śaraiḥ pañcāśatā droṇo vārayāmāsa saṃyuge ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ရွှေချပ်များနှင့် အလှဆင်ထားသော ဂဒါသည် မိမိထံသို့ ရုတ်တရက် ပြေးဝင်လာသည်ကို မြင်သော် ဒ్రోဏသည် စစ်မြေပြင်အလယ်၌ မြားငါးဆယ်ဖြင့် ထိုးနှက်ကာ ၎င်း၏ တိုးဝင်မှုကို တားဆီးပြီး နောက်သို့ တွန်းလှန်ပစ်하였다။ ဤမြင်ကွင်းသည် စစ်မြေပြင်၏ ကျင့်ဝတ်ကို ဖော်ပြသည်—လာမည့်အန္တရာယ်ကို ချက်ချင်း တုံ့ပြန်၍ အင်အားဖြင့် ထိန်းချုပ်ရမည်၊ ပြင်ပအလှအပကြောင့် မလွှမ်းမိုးရ။
