तान्यनीकान्यनीकेषु समसज्जन्त भारत । तावकानां परेषां च दृष्टवा शान्तनवं रणे,भारत! आपके और शत्रुपक्षेके सब सैनिक युद्धमें शान्तनुनन्दन भीष्मको देखकर विरोधी सैनिकोंके साथ जमकर युद्ध करने लगे
tāny anīkāny anīkeṣu samasajjanta bhārata | tāvakānāṃ pareṣāṃ ca dṛṣṭvā śāntanavaṃ raṇe ||
သဉ္ဇယက ဆိုသည်။ «အို ဘာရတ၊ ထိုစစ်တန်းစီများသည် တစ်ခုနှင့်တစ်ခု ပိတ်ကပ်၍ ခိုင်မာစွာ ထိတွေ့တိုက်ခိုက်ကြ၏။ စစ်မြေပြင်ပေါ်၌ သာန္တနဝ (ဘီရှ္မ) ကို မြင်လျှင် သင်တို့ဘက် စစ်သည်တို့နှင့် ရန်ဘက်တပ်တို့လည်း ပြင်းထန်စွာ တိုးဝင်တိုက်ခိုက်ကြ၏»။
