Bhīṣma–Karṇa Saṃvāda on the Śaraśayyā (भीष्म–कर्ण संवादः शरशय्यायाम्)
भीष्मो5पि रथियनां श्रेष्ठ: प्रतिजग्राह तां चमूम् । आपततन्ती महाराज वेलामिव महोदधि:
sañjaya uvāca | bhīṣmo 'pi rathināṃ śreṣṭhaḥ pratijagrāha tāṃ camūm | āpatatantīṃ mahārāja velām iva mahodadhiḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– “မင်းကြီး၊ ရထားစစ်သည်တို့အနက် အမြတ်ဆုံး ဘီရှ္မသည်လည်း မိမိထံသို့ တိုက်ခိုက်ရန် လှိုင်းထန်စွာ လာရောက်သော အင်အားကြီး စစ်တပ်ကို လက်ခံရင်ဆိုင်၏—မဟာသမုဒ္ဒရာက ကမ်းခြေကို ထိတွေ့လာသော လှိုင်းကို ခံယူသကဲ့သို့ပင်။”
