अहं त्वामनुयास्यामि परान् विद्रावय5शरै: । अभिद्रव सुसंरब्धो भीष्म॑ भीमपराक्रमम्,“वीर! मैं बाणोंद्वारा शत्रुओंकोी भगाता हुआ सदा तुम्हारा साथ दूँगा। अत: तुम भयंकर पराक्रमी भीष्मपर रोषपूर्वक आक्रमण करो
ahaṃ tvām anuyāsyāmi parān vidrāvayaś śaraiḥ | abhidrava susaṃrabdho bhīṣmaṃ bhīmaparākramam ||
«သူရဲကောင်း၊ ငါသည် မင်းနောက်ကပ်ကပ်လိုက်မည်။ ငါ့မြားများဖြင့် ရန်သူတန်းစီကို ထွက်ပြေးစေမည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် အလွန်ပြင်းထန်သော စိတ်အားဖြင့် ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် အင်အားရှိသော ဘီရှ္မကို တိုက်ခိုက်လော့»။
