भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
सेन्द्रानपि रणे देवाञ्जयेयं जयतां वर । त्वया नाथेन गोविन्द किमु भीष्म॑ महारथम्
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | sendrān api raṇe devān jayeyam jayatāṃ vara | tvayā nāthena govinda kimu bhīṣmaṃ mahāratham ||
ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရက ပြောသည်— «အောင်ပွဲရှင်တို့အနက် အမြတ်ဆုံးသူရေ! ဂోవိန္ဒ၊ သင်ကို ငါ့ကာကွယ်သူအဖြစ် ရရှိထားသဖြင့် စစ်မြေပြင်၌ အိန္ဒြာပါဝင်သော နတ်တို့အားလုံးကိုတောင် ငါ အနိုင်ယူနိုင်သည်။ ထိုသို့ဆိုလျှင် မဟာရഥီ ဘီရှ္မကို အနိုင်ယူခြင်းက ဘာကြီးမားသနည်း»။
