Daśame’hani Bhīṣma-yuddham — Śikhaṇḍī-rakṣaṇa, Arjuna-prabhāva, Duryodhana-āśraya-vākyam
न क्षत्रिया रणे राजन् वर्जयन्ति परस्परम् | निर्मर्याद हि युध्यन्ते पितृभिर्श्रातृभि: सह
sañjaya uvāca | na kṣatriyā raṇe rājan varjayanti parasparam | nirmaryādā hi yudhyante pitṛbhiḥ bhrātṛbhiḥ saha rājan |
စဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– «အို မင်းကြီး၊ က္ෂတ္ရိယတို့သည် စစ်ပွဲ၌ တစ်ဦးနှင့်တစ်ဦး မလွတ်ပေးကြ။ အမှန်တကယ်ပင် ကန့်သတ်ချက်အားလုံးကို ပစ်ချ၍ မိမိတို့၏ ဖခင်များ၊ ညီအစ်ကိုများနှင့်ပင် (ဘက်တူဖြစ်စေ ဘက်ဆန့်ဖြစ်စေ) တိုက်ခိုက်ကြသည်»။
