Adhyāya 104 — Śikhaṇḍin-puraskāraḥ (Śikhaṇḍin as Vanguard) and Bhīṣma’s Counter-Advance
छादयामास समरे शरै: संनतपर्वभि: । इस प्रकार महापराक्रमी नरश्रेष्ठ अभिमन्युने उस दुरात्मा राक्षसकी मायाको नष्ट कर दिया और अत्यन्त कुपित हो झुकी हुई गाँठवाले बाणोंद्वारा उसे समरभूमिमें आच्छादित कर दिया
sañjaya uvāca | chādayāmāsa samare śaraiḥ saṃnataparvabhiḥ |
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—စစ်မြေပြင်အလယ်၌ အဘိမန်ယူသည် လူတို့အနက် အမြတ်ဆုံး၊ သတ္တိဗလကြီးမားသူဖြစ်၍ မကောင်းသော ရက္ခသ၏ လှည့်စားမယာကို ချိုးဖျက်ပစ်하였다။ ထို့နောက် တရားသဖြင့် ထွက်ပေါ်လာသော ဒေါသမီးလောင်လျက်၊ အဆစ်ကွေးသော မြားများဖြင့် စစ်မြေပြင်ပေါ်တွင် ထိုသူကို အပြည့်အဝ ဖုံးလွှမ်းကာ လုံးဝလွှမ်းမိုးသွား하였다။
