Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
उष्णार्तश्न क्षुधार्तश्न विप्रस्तपसि संस्थित:
Nakula uvāca: uṣṇārtaś ca kṣudhārtaś ca vipras tapasi saṁsthitaḥ, kṣapayāmāsa taṁ kālaṁ kṛcchra-prāṇo dvijottamaḥ.
နကုလက ဆိုသည်– «တပသ်၌ တည်ကြည်နေသော အထူးမြတ်သော ဗြာဟ္မဏသည် အပူဒဏ်နှင့် ဆာလောင်မှုဒဏ် နှစ်ပါးလုံးကြောင့် ပင်ပန်းနာကျင်ခဲ့သည်။ အသက်ကို အလွန်ခက်ခဲစွာသာ ထိန်းထားနိုင်သော်လည်း ထိုကာလကို ခံတော်မူ၍ ဖြတ်သန်းကာ—ချို့တဲ့မှုကြားတွင်ပင် သစ္စာဝတ်ကို မလျော့ဘဲ စည်းကမ်းကို မစွန့်လွှတ်ခဲ့သည်»။
