मरुत्त उवाच कच्चिच्छीमान् देवराज: सुखी च कच्चिच्चास्मान् प्रीयते धूमकेतो । कच्चिद्दवेवा अस्य वशे यथावत् प्रब्रृहि त्वं मम कार्त्स्न्येन देव
Marutta uvāca: kaccic chrīmān devarājaḥ sukhī ca kaccic cāsmān prīyate dhūmaketo | kaccid devā asya vaśe yathāvat prabrūhi tvaṁ mama kārtsnyena deva ||
မရုတ္တက ပြောသည်– «တန်ခိုးတော်ကြီးသော နတ်မင်းကြီးသည် အမှန်တကယ် ကျန်းမာချမ်းသာပါသလား။ ဓူမကေတု၊ သူသည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အပေါ် စိတ်ကျေနပ်ပါသလား။ နတ်တို့အားလုံးလည်း သူ၏ အမိန့်အောက်တွင် သင့်တင့်စွာ နေထိုင်ကြပါသလား။ အို နတ်မြတ်၊ ဤအရာအားလုံးကို ပြည့်စုံတိတိကျကျ ငါ့အား ပြောပြလော့»။
