संवर्त उवाच
The core teaching is śaraṇāgati (taking refuge): by remembering and reverently saluting Śiva through his many names—each highlighting a facet of his lordship, auspiciousness, and cosmic scope—one aligns oneself with divine protection and guidance.
Saṃvarta delivers a devotional address that strings together Śiva’s principal epithets. The narrative move is an invocation meant to orient the listener toward worship and surrender to Śiva as the supreme Lord.
