इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ााभारत आश्वमेधिकपर्वके अन्तर्गत अनुगीतापर्वमें परीक्षित॒के जन्मका वर्णनविषयक छाछठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrī-mahābhārata āśvamedhika-parvake antargata anugītā-parvaṇi parīkṣitasya janma-varṇana-viṣayakaḥ ṣaṭ-ṣaṣṭitamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat
ဤသို့ဖြင့် ဂုဏ်သရေရှိသော မဟာဘာရတ၌ အရှွမေဓိကပရဝ၌ ပါဝင်သော အနုဂီတာ (Anugītā) အပိုင်း၏ အခန်း (၆၆) သည်—ပရိက္ခစ် (Parīkṣit) ၏ မွေးဖွားခြင်းကို ဖော်ပြသည့် အကြောင်းအရာဖြင့်—ပြီးဆုံးလေ၏။ ဤအပိုင်း၏ အဆုံးသတ်ကို ကဗျာပြောသူက မှတ်သားကြေညာကာ စစ်ပြီးနောက် ဓမ္မ၏ ဆက်လက်တည်တံ့မှုကို—မျိုးရိုး၊ တာဝန်နှင့် တရားမျှတသော အစီအစဉ် ပြန်လည်တည်ဆောက်ခြင်းတို့အား—နောက်တော်ဆက်ခံသူ၏ ရောက်ရှိလာမှုဖြင့် ထပ်မံအတည်ပြုထားသည်ဟု ဖရိမ်ချထားလေ၏။
