कālacakra-वर्णनम् तथा āśrama-धarma-निरूपणम्
The Wheel of Time and the Norms of the Āśramas
मासार्धमासगणितं विषमं लोकसंचरम् । तमोनियमपड्कं च रजोवेगप्रवर्तकम्
māsārdhamāsagaṇitaṃ viṣamaṃ lokasañcaram | tamoniyamapaṅkaṃ ca rajovegapravartakam
ဝါယုဒေဝက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «၎င်းသည် လောကများအတွင်း မညီညာသော လမ်းကြောင်းဖြင့် လှည့်လည်သွားလာ၍၊ လနှင့် လဝက်တို့ဖြင့် ရေတွက်ခံရ၏။ ၎င်းသည် အမှောင် (tamas) က စည်းကမ်းချုပ်ကိုင်သော ရွံ့နွံတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ရာဇ (rajas) ၏ အရှိန်ပြင်းသော လှုပ်ရှားမှုကို လှုံ့ဆော်ကာ လည်ပတ်စေ၏»။
