अश्वमेध-उपदेशः तथा मरुत्त-यज्ञ-धन-प्रसङ्गः
Counsel on Aśvamedha and the Marutta-treasure episode
उत्सृष्टं ब्राह्मणैर्यज्ञे मरुत्तस्य महात्मन: । तदानयस्व कौन्तेय पर्याप्तं॑ तद् भविष्यति
utsṛṣṭaṃ brāhmaṇair yajñe maruttasya mahātmanaḥ | tad ānayāsva kaunteya paryāptaṃ tad bhaviṣyati ||
ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရ မိန့်တော်မူသည်—“ကောင့်တေးယ (ကွန်တီ၏သား) ရေ၊ မဟာစိတ်ရှိသော မရုတ္တ၏ ယဇ్ఞ၌ ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့ စွန့်ပစ်ထားသော ဥစ္စာကို သွား၍ ယူလာလော့။ ထိုဥစ္စာသည် လုံလောက်မည်” ဟု။ အကြောင်းအရာအရ ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရသည် ရာဇဝတ္တရားအတွက် အရင်းအမြစ်ကို ဖြည့်တင်းရာတွင် ဓမ္မတရားနှင့် ကိုက်ညီသော အကြမ်းမဖက်နည်းကို ညွှန်ပြသည်—ယဇ్ఞပြီးနောက် တရားဝင် စွန့်လွှတ်ထားသော အရာကို ယူခြင်းဖြစ်၍ ပြည်သူကို အလေးပေးခိုင်းခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် အင်အားသုံး အကျပ်ကိုင်ခြင်း မဟုတ်။
