अध्वर्यु–यति संवादः
Adhvaryu–Yati Dialogue on Svabhāva, Ahiṃsā, and Mokṣa
एवमेवानुमन्येरंस्तान् भवान् द्रष्टमरहति । तेषामनुमतं श्रुत्वा शक््या कर्तु विचारणा
evam evānumanyeran tān bhavān draṣṭum arhati | teṣām anumataṃ śrutvā śakyā kartum vicāraṇā ||
«ထိုနည်းတူပင် သင်သည် ထိုသူတို့ထံ သွားတွေ့သင့်သည်။ သူတို့၏ သဘောတူညီချက်ကို ကြားသိပြီးမှသာ အကြံပြုစဉ်းစား၍ ထိုအတိုင်း ဆုံးဖြတ်နိုင်မည်»။
ब्राह्मण उवाच
A decision becomes dharmically valid when it is preceded by consultation and the consent of those who are directly connected or affected; only after hearing their approval should one proceed to deliberate and act.
A Brahmin advises the listener to first meet the relevant people (contextually, the animal’s relations/owners or those concerned) and, after hearing their consent, to undertake further consideration and decide accordingly.
