Vyāsa’s Boon-Offer and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse in the Forest Assembly (आश्रमवासिक पर्व, अध्याय ३६)
के देशा: परिदृष्टास्ते कि च कार्य करोमि ते । तद् ब्रूहि द्विजमुख्य त्वं त्वं हुस्माकं परा गति:
ke deśāḥ paridṛṣṭās te ki ca kāryaṃ karomi te | tad brūhi dvijamukhya tvaṃ tvaṃ hy asmākaṃ parā gatiḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယနက ပြောသည်– «သင်သည် မည်သည့်ဒေသများကို စူးစမ်းကြည့်ရှုခဲ့သနည်း၊ ထို့ပြင် ငါသည် သင့်အား မည်သို့သော ဝန်ဆောင်မှုကို ပြုရမည်နည်း။ အို၊ ဒွိဇတို့အနက် အမြတ်ဆုံးသော ပုရောဟိတ်ကြီး၊ ငါ့အား ပြောကြားပါ။ အကြောင်းမူကား သင်သည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ အမြင့်ဆုံးသော အားကိုးရာနှင့် လမ်းညွှန်အဆုံးတိုင် ဖြစ်၏»။
