अश्रमवासिनां विषादः — Lament in Hastināpura after the Elders’ Forest Withdrawal

वैशम्पायन उवाच ते<नुज्ञातास्तदा राजन्‌ कुरुराजेन पाण्डवा: । विविधान्यन्नपानानि विश्राम्यानुभवन्ति ते

vaiśampāyana uvāca te 'nujñātās tadā rājan kururājena pāṇḍavāḥ | vividhāny annapānāni viśrāmyānubhavanti te ||

ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယန က ပြောလေ၏— «မင်းကြီး၊ ထိုအခါ ကူရုဘုရင် ဓြတရာရှ္ဌရ၏ ခွင့်ပြုချက်ကို ရပြီးနောက် ပဏ္ဍဝတို့သည် ထိုနေရာတွင် အနားယူကာ အစားအသောက်နှင့် သောက်စရာ အမျိုးမျိုးကို သုံးဆောင်ကြသည်။ ဤမြင်ကွင်းသည် တရားနှင့်ညီသော ဧည့်ဝတ်ပြုမှုနှင့် ပြန်လည်သင့်မြတ်ခြင်း၏ ခဏတစ်ခါကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်—ကြီးမားသော ပဋိပက္ခပြီးနောက်တောင် ခွင့်ပြုချက်၊ ထိန်းသိမ်းမှု၊ ဧည့်သည်ကို စောင့်ရှောက်မှုတို့ကို စည်းကမ်းတကျ လိုက်နာကြောင်းကို»
