Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)
स्थानमप्यस्य नृपते: श्रोतुमिच्छाम्यहं विभो । त्वत्त: कीदूक् कदा चेति तन्ममाख्याहि तत्त्वतः
sthānam apy asya nṛpateḥ śrotum icchāmy ahaṃ vibho | tvattaḥ kīdṛk kadā ceti tan mamākhyāhi tattvataḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်– «အို အင်အားကြီးသူရေ၊ ဤမင်းအတွက် စောင့်ဆိုင်းနေသော ကံကြမ္မာကိုလည်း ကျွန်ုပ် ကြားလိုပါသည်။ သင်ထံမှ အမှန်တကယ်နှင့် အသေးစိတ် ပြောပြပါ—သူရမည့် အခြေအနေသည် မည်သို့ဖြစ်မည်နည်း၊ မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင် ရမည်နည်း»။
