Adhyāya 16 — Daiva, Kṣatriya-dharma, and Public Reassurance to Dhṛtarāṣṭra
प्रेक्षतामेव वो भीम वेपन्तीं कदलीमिव । सत्रीधर्मिणीमरिष्टाड़ीं तथा द्यूतपराजिताम्
prekṣatām eva vo bhīma vepantīṁ kadalīm iva | satrīdharmiṇīm ariṣṭāḍīṁ tathā dyūta-parājitām ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယနက ပြောသည်– «အို ဘီမ၊ သင်ကြည့်နေစဉ်ပင် သူမသည် ငှက်ပျောပင်ကဲ့သို့ တုန်လှုပ်နေခဲ့သည်။ သီလဝတ္တရားရှိသော ဇနီးမယား၏ ဓမ္မကို တည်ကြည်စွာ ထမ်းဆောင်သူဖြစ်သော်လည်း၊ ကံဆိုးမိုးမှောင်က ထိခိုက်စေ၍၊ အန်စာတုံးကစားပွဲတွင် ရှုံးနိမ့်ခြင်းကြောင့် နိမ့်ကျသွားခဲ့သည်» ဟု။
