Chatra–Upānah Dāna: Origin Narrative
Jamadagni–Reṇukā–Sūrya Saṃvāda
तमाहुरारता ऋषयो महर्षि न ते वयं पुष्करं चोरयाम: । मिथ्याभिषंगो भवता न कार्य: शपाम तीक्ष्णै: शपथैर्महर्षे
tam āhur āratā ṛṣayo maharṣi na te vayaṁ puṣkaraṁ corayāmaḥ | mithyābhiṣaṅgo bhavatā na kāryaḥ śapāma tīkṣṇaiḥ śapathair maharṣe ||
ထိုစကားကြားသော် ရှင်ရသီတို့သည် ထိတ်လန့်ကာ မဟာရသီအား ပြောကြသည်— «အို မဟာရသီ၊ သင်၏ ကြာပန်းကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ မခိုးယူခဲ့ပါ။ မမှန်ကန်သော စွပ်စွဲချက်ကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အပေါ် မတင်သင့်ပါ။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ သန့်ရှင်းမှုကို ပြသရန် အလွန်ပြင်းထန်သော ကျိန်ဆိုချက်များဖြင့်ပင် ကျိန်ဆိုရန် အသင့်ရှိပါသည်။»
