Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
एका तिष्ठसि का च त्वं कस्यार्थे कि प्रयोजनम् । पद्मिनीतीरमाश्रित्य ब्रूहि त्वं किं चिकीर्षसि
ekā tiṣṭhasi kā ca tvaṃ kasyārthe ki prayojanam | padminītīram āśritya brūhi tvaṃ kiṃ cikīrṣasi ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်— «မင်းက ဘယ်သူလဲ၊ ဒီမှာ တစ်ယောက်တည်း ရပ်နေတာ? ဘယ်သူ့အတွက် ဒီကိုလာတာလဲ? ဘာရည်ရွယ်ချက်နဲ့ ဒီနေရာကို ရောက်လာတာလဲ? ကြာပန်းများပြည့်နေသော ဒီကန်ရဲ့ ကမ်းနားကို အားကိုးပြီး နေထိုင်နေတာဆိုတော့—မင်း အဆုံးသတ်အောင် လုပ်ချင်တာက ဘာလဲ၊ ပြောပါ»
