Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच साधोर्य: प्रतिगृह्लीयात् तथैवासाधुतो द्विज: । गुणवत्यल्पदोष: स्यान्निर्गुणे तु निमज्जति
bhīṣma uvāca sādhoryaḥ pratigṛhṇīyāt tathaivāsādhuto dvijaḥ | guṇavaty alpadoṣaḥ syān nirguṇe tu nimajjati ||
ဘီရှ္မက ဆိုသည်– «မင်းကြီးရေ၊ ဗြာဟ္မဏတစ်ဦးသည် လှူဒါန်းမှုကို လက်ခံရာတွင် သီလရှိသူထံမှဖြစ်စေ၊ မကောင်းသူထံမှဖြစ်စေ လက်ခံနိုင်သည်။ သီလရှိသူထံမှ လက်ခံလျှင် အပြစ်အနည်းငယ်သာ ဖြစ်၏။ သို့သော် ကောင်းဂုဏ်မရှိသူထံမှ လက်ခံလျှင် အပြစ်တွင် နစ်မြုပ်သွားသည်»။
