The Duty to Fulfill Promised Gifts
न हर्तव्यं विप्रधन क्षन्तव्यं तेषु नित्यश: । बालाश्व नावमन्तव्या दरिद्रा: कृपणा अपि
na hartavyaṃ vipradhanaṃ kṣantavyaṃ teṣu nityaśaḥ | bālāś ca nāvamantavyā daridrāḥ kṛpaṇā api ||
ဘီရှ္မက သင်ကြား၏— ဗြာဟ္မဏ၏ ဥစ္စာကို မည်သည့်အခါမျှ မခိုးယူရ။ ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့ အပြစ်ရှိလျှင်ပင် သူတို့အပေါ် အမြဲ ခွင့်လွှတ်သဘောထားကို ထိန်းထားရ။ သူတို့သည် ကလေးဖြစ်စေ၊ ဆင်းရဲဖြစ်စေ၊ သနားဖွယ်ဖြစ်စေ မထီမဲ့မြင် မပြုရ—လေးစားမှုနှင့် ကိုယ်ကိုထိန်းချုပ်မှုသည် ဓမ္မဖြစ်၏။
