देवानां भगवन्‌ कस्माल्लोकेशानां पितामह । उपरिष्टाद्‌ गवां लोक एतदिच्छामि वेदितुम्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | devānāṃ bhagavan kasmāl lokeśānāṃ pitāmaha | upariṣṭād gavāṃ loka etad icchāmi veditum ||

Translation

ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «အရှင်မြတ်ဘုရား၊ လောကတို့၏ အဘိုးအို၊ နတ်တို့၏ အဘိုးအို—အဘယ်ကြောင့် နွားတို့၏ လောကသည် (အခြားလောကများထက်) အထက်တွင် တည်ထားသနည်း။ ဤအကြောင်းကို ကျွန်ုပ် သိလိုပါသည်»။
