Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
ऋषीणां सर्वलोकेषु यानि ते यान्ति देवता: । दमेन यानि नृपते गच्छन्ति परमर्षय:
ṛṣīṇāṃ sarvalokeṣu yāni te yānti devatāḥ | damena yāni nṛpate gacchanti paramarṣayaḥ ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်ကြားသည်— «အို မင်းကြီး၊ လောကအပေါင်းတို့၌ နတ်တို့ ရောက်ရှိသည့် ဒိဗ္ဗသိဒ္ဓိများကိုပင် အထွတ်အမြတ် ရှိသည့် ရှင်ရသီတို့သည် ကိုယ်ကိုထိန်းချုပ်ခြင်း (ဒမ) ဖြင့် ရောက်ရှိကြသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် အာရုံတို့ကို အနိုင်ယူခြင်းနှင့် စည်းကမ်းသမာဓိဖြင့် နေထိုင်ခြင်းသည် အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဓမ္မလမ်းဆုံးသို့ တိုက်ရိုက်ရောက်စေသော နည်းလမ်းဟု ကြေညာထားသည်»။
