Pānīya-dāna and Anna-dāna: The Primacy of Life-Sustaining Gifts (पानीयदान-प्रशंसा / अन्नदान-प्रशंसा)
भक्ष्यभोज्यमया: शैला वासांस्याभरणानि च । क्षीरं स्रवन्ति सरितस्तथा चैवान्नपर्वता:,वहाँ भक्ष्य-भोज्य पदार्थोंके पर्वत, वस्त्र और आभूषण हैं। वहाँकी नदियाँ दूध बहाती हैं। अन्नके पर्वतोपम ढेर लगे रहते हैं
bhakṣyabhojyamayāḥ śailā vāsāṃsyābharaṇāni ca | kṣīraṃ sravanti saritas tathā caivānnaparvatāḥ ||
ဘိဿမက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «ထိုနေရာ၌ စားသောက်ဖွယ်ရာတို့ဖြင့် တောင်တန်းကဲ့သို့ စုပုံထားသကဲ့သို့ ရှိပြီး၊ အဝတ်အစားနှင့် အလှဆင်ပစ္စည်းများလည်း ရှိ၏။ ထိုနေရာ၏ မြစ်များသည် နို့ကို စီးဆင်းစေကြပြီး၊ စပါးနှံတို့၏ စုပုံများသည် တောင်ကဲ့သို့ မြင့်မားလျက် ရှိကြ၏။»
