भीष्म उवाच इममर्थ पुरा पृष्टो नारदो देवदर्शन: । यदुक्तवानसौ वाक्यं तन्मे निगदत: शृणु

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | imam arthaṃ purā pṛṣṭo nārado devadarśanaḥ | yad uktavān asau vākyaṃ tan me nigadataḥ śṛṇu ||

Translation

ဘိဿမက ပြောသည်– «ဤအကြောင်းအရာကို ယခင်က တစ်ခါတုန်းက နတ်တို့ကို မြင်နိုင်သော ရှင်နာရဒ မဟာရိသီအား ငါမေးခဲ့ဖူးသည်။ ယခု သူက ထိုအခါ ပြောခဲ့သော စကားကို ငါပြန်လည်ပြောပြမည်၊ နားထောင်လော့»။
