Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
अथवा मित्रसदन मैत्र॑ मित्रविवर्धनम् । कीर्तिसंजनन श्रेष्ठ तडागानां निवेशनम्
athavā mitra-sadanaṁ maitraṁ mitra-vivardhanam | kīrti-sañjananaṁ śreṣṭhaṁ taḍāgānāṁ niveśanam ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «သို့မဟုတ် ကန်ရေကန်နှင့် ရေသိုလှောင်ကန် တည်ဆောက်ခြင်းသည် မိတ်ဆွေ၏ အိမ်တည်ထောင်ပေးသကဲ့သို့ပင် ဖြစ်သည်။ ၎င်းသည် မိတ်သဟာယကို မွေးမြူပေး၍ မိတ်ဆွေဝိုင်းကို တိုးပွားစေကာ ကောင်းသောဂုဏ်သတင်းကို ပေါ်ထွန်းစေ၍ ပြန့်ပွားစေသော အကောင်းဆုံးနည်းလမ်းများထဲမှ တစ်ခု ဖြစ်သည်»။
