Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
अतीतानागते चोभे पितृवंशं च भारत । तारयेद् वृक्षरोपी च तस्माद् वक्षांश्ष रोपयेत्
atītānāgate cobhe pitṛvaṁśaṁ ca bhārata | tārayet vṛkṣaropī ca tasmād vṛkṣāṁś ca ropayet bharatanandana ||
အို ဘာရတ! သစ်ပင်စိုက်သူသည် ကွယ်လွန်ပြီးသူတို့နှင့် မလာသေးသော အနာဂတ်သားစဉ်မြေးဆက်တို့ကိုပါ ကယ်တင်သူ ဖြစ်လာသည်။ ထို့ပြင် မိဘဘိုးဘွား အမျိုးအနွယ်တစ်လျှောက်လုံးကိုလည်း ကယ်တင်နိုင်၏။ ထို့ကြောင့် အို ဘာရတတို့၏ အားရစရာသူရဲကောင်း၊ သစ်ပင်ကို မဖြစ်မနေ စိုက်သင့်၏။
