Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
एतदू् राज्यफलं चैव तपसश्न॒ फलं मम । यदि त्वं प्रीतिमान् विप्र मयि वै भूगुनन्दन
etad rājyaphalaṃ caiva tapasaś ca phalaṃ mama | yadi tvaṃ prītimān vipra mayi vai bhṛgunandana ||
ကုသိကာက ပြောသည်– «ဤအရာပင် မင်းအာဏာ၏ အကျိုးဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့၊ ဤအရာပင် ကျွန်ုပ်၏ တပသ (အာစီတပ) ၏ အကျိုးလည်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်—ဗြာဟ္မဏ၊ ဘೃဂုတို့၏ အနှစ်သာရ၊ အရှင်သည် ကျွန်ုပ်အပေါ် အမှန်တကယ် ပျော်ရွှင်နှစ်သက်တော်မူလျှင်»။
