Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
कुशवल्मीकभूयिष्ठं बभूव च यथा पुरा । ततः स राजा कुशिक: सभार्यस्तेन कर्मणा
kuśa-valmīka-bhūyiṣṭhaṃ babhūva ca yathā purā | tataḥ sa rājā kuśikaḥ sa-bhāryas tena karmaṇā |
«အရင်ကကဲ့သို့ပင် ထိုနေရာသည် ကုသမြက်နှင့် ပုရွက်ဆိတ်တောင် (ant-hill) များဖြင့် ထူထပ်လာ၏။ ထိုအမှုကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသော အံ့ဖွယ်သက်ရောက်မှုကို မြင်သောအခါ ကုသိကမင်းသည် မိဖုရားနှင့်အတူ အလွန်အံ့ဩသွား၏»။
