Cyavana’s Water-Vow and the Ethics of Cohabitation (स्नेह-सम्वास-धर्मः)
अथ चेदन्यथा कुर्याद् यदि कामाद् युधिष्ठिर । यथा ब्राह्मण चाण्डाल: पूर्वदृष्टस्तथैव स:
atha ced anyathā kuryād yadi kāmād yudhiṣṭhira | yathā brāhmaṇa-cāṇḍālaḥ pūrvadṛṣṭas tathaiva saḥ ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «သို့သော် ကာမဆန္ဒကြောင့် ဗြာဟ္မဏတစ်ဦးက သတ်မှတ်ထားသော စည်းကမ်းကို ဆန့်ကျင်၍ အခြားသဘောဖြင့် ပြုမူလျှင်—အို ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရ—ယခင်က ဖော်ပြခဲ့သော ‘ဗြာဟ္မဏ-ချဏ္ဍာလ’ ကဲ့သို့ပင် ဟု သတ်မှတ်ရမည်၊ အဆင့်အတန်းနှင့် အကျင့်အကြံတို့၌လည်း ထိုအတိုင်းပင် ဖြစ်သွားသည်»။
