न चैतेभ्य: प्रदातव्या न वोढव्या तथाविधा । न होव भार्या क्रेतव्या न विक्रय्या कथंचन
na caitebhyaḥ pradātavyā na voḍhavyā tathāvidhā | naiva bhāryā kretavyā na vikrayyā kathaṃcana ||
ဘိဿမက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «ထိုသို့သော လူတို့ထံ သမီးကို မပေးသင့်၊ ထိုသို့ ‘ရောင်းချ’ နေသော မိန်းကလေးနှင့်လည်း မလက်ထပ်သင့်။ အကြောင်းမှာ ဇနီးသည် မည်သည့်အခါမျှ ဝယ်ယူရန် သို့မဟုတ် ရောင်းချရန် အရာဝတ္ထု မဟုတ်သောကြောင့်ပင်»။
