Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
विपुल उवाच ब्रह्मर्षे मिथुनं कि तत् के च ते पुरुषा विभो । ये मां जानन्ति तत्त्वेन यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि
vipula uvāca brahmarṣe mithunaṁ ki tat ke ca te puruṣā vibho | ye māṁ jānanti tattvena yan māṁ tvaṁ paripṛcchasi ||
ဝိပုလက ပြော၏ — «အို ဗြဟ္မရ္ရှိ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်မြင်ခဲ့သော အမျိုးသားနှင့် အမျိုးသမီး အတွဲသည် မည်သူတို့နည်း။ ထို့ပြင် အို အင်အားကြီးသူ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်ကို အမှန်တကယ် သိကြသော ထို လူခြောက်ယောက်သည် မည်သူတို့နည်း—အကြောင်းကို သင်ကလည်း ကျွန်ုပ်အား မေးမြန်းနေသနည်း»။
