Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
एताः कृत्याश्च कार्याश्च कृताश्च भरतर्षभ | न चैकस्मिन् रमन्त्येता: पुरुषे पाण्डुनन्दन
etāḥ kṛtyāś ca kāryāś ca kṛtāś ca bharatarṣabha | na caikasmin ramanty etāḥ puruṣe pāṇḍunandana ||
ဝိပုလက ပြောသည်– «အို ဘာရတတို့အနက် အကောင်းဆုံးသူ၊ အို ပाण्डု၏ သား၊ ထိုမိန်းမတို့သည် အသက်ကို ခိုးယူသည့် မန္တရားကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြသည်။ ယောကျာ်းတစ်ဦးက ‘လက်ခံယူ’ ပြီးလျှင် နောက်တစ်ဦးကလည်း လက်ခံယူနိုင်သည့်အရာ ဖြစ်လာကြသည်။ သူတို့သည် ယောကျာ်းတစ်ဦးတည်းအပေါ် မတည်မြဲဘဲ၊ ချစ်ခင်မှုသည် တစ်နေရာတည်း၌ မတည်ကြ»။
