तस्या हि भगिनी तात ज्येष्ठा नाम्ना प्रभावती । भार्या चित्ररथस्याथ बभूवाड्रेश्वरस्य वै,तात! रुचिकी बड़ी बहिन, जिसका नाम प्रभावती था, अंगराज चित्ररथको ब्याही गयी थी
tasyā hi bhaginī tāta jyeṣṭhā nāmnā prabhāvatī | bhāryā citrarathasyātha babhūvāḍreśvarasya vai ||
ဘိဿမက ပြောသည်— “အို ချစ်သူငယ်၊ သူမ၏ အစ်မအကြီးဆုံးကို ပရဘာဝတီ ဟု ခေါ်ကြပြီး၊ သူမသည် စိတြရထ၏ ဇနီးဖြစ်လာခဲ့သည်—တောင်တန်းတို့၏ အရှင်၏ ဇနီးပင် ဖြစ်၏”။
भीष्म उवाच
The verse underscores the dharmic importance of lineage and marital alliances: family relations and marriages are narrated to explain social bonds, legitimacy, and the network of duties and obligations that arise from them.
Bhīṣma identifies a woman’s elder sister, Prabhāvatī, and states that she married Citraratha, described with the epithet ‘lord of the mountains,’ situating the family within a broader political and genealogical context.
