पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
ये चैनमनुवर्तन्ते ते न यान्ति पराभवम् | नते प्रेत्य विनश्यन्ति गच्छन्ति न पराभवम्
ye cainam anuvartante te na yānti parābhavam | na te pretya vinaśyanti gacchanti na parābhavam ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်ကြားသည်– ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့ကို လိုက်နာ၍ ဝတ်ပြုကူညီသူတို့သည် ရှုံးနိမ့်ခြင်းသို့ မကျရောက်ကြ။ သေပြီးနောက်တွင်လည်း ပျက်စီးခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် ကျဆင်းခြင်း မရှိကြ။ အရှက်ကွဲခြင်းကိုလည်း မရကြဘဲ ကျဆုံးမှုမရှိသည့် လမ်းကို ဆက်လက်သွားကြသည်—ဓမ္မနှင့် ဓမ္မကို ထိန်းသိမ်းသူတို့ကို ရိုသေခြင်းမှ ပေါ်ပေါက်သော ကုသိုလ်ကြောင့် ဖြစ်သည်။
