सतं दृष्टवा विशुद्धात्मा त्रासादडुकमुपागतम् । आश्रचास्याश्रवसिह्ीीत्याह न ते5स्ति भयमण्डज
śaraṇaṃ dṛṣṭvā viśuddhātmā trāsād aṇḍakam upāgatam | āśvāsayām āsa taṃ rājā uśīnaraḥ—na te 'sti bhayam aṇḍaja ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– ခိုလှုံရန် လာရောက်သော ကြောက်လန့်နေသည့် ငှက်ကို မြင်သော် စိတ်သန့်ရှင်းသော မင်းကြီး ဥရှီနရက ထိုငှက်ကို နှစ်သိမ့်ကာ “အို ဥကနေမွေးသော ငှက်ရေ၊ စိတ်အေးအေးထားလော့—ဒီမှာ မင်းအတွက် ကြောက်စရာ မရှိ” ဟု ဆို하였다။ ဤကဗျာသည် အားနည်း၍ ထိခိုက်လွယ်သူက အပ်နှံလာသော် အကာအကွယ်ပေးရမည့် မင်း၏ တာဝန်ကို ထင်ရှားစေသည်။
