ऋग्गवेदे वर्तते चाग्रया श्रुतिर्यस्थ महात्मन:

Transliteration

ṛgvede vartate cāgrayā śrutir yatra mahātmanaḥ |

Translation

ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «ရီဂ္ဗေဒ၌ ထိုမဟာစိတ်ရှိသော ရှင်မြတ်နှင့် ဆက်နွယ်သည့် ထင်ရှားအမြင့်မြတ်ဆုံး သြတိ (śruti) တစ်ရပ်ကို တွေ့ရ၏။ အို မင်းကြီး၊ ထိုနေရာ၌ ဗြာဟ္မဏများသည် ရှင်မြင်သူ (ṛṣi) ဂြစ်စမာဒကို အလွန်မြတ်နိုးဂုဏ်ပြုကြ၏။ ဗြဟ္မရ္ရှိ ဂြစ်စမာဒသည် တပဿာတေဇဖြင့် တောက်ပ၍ ဗြဟ္မစရိယ (အပျိုသန့်သိမ်) ဝတ္တရား၌ တည်ကြည်သူဖြစ်၏»။
