Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
महापुण्यां च गगनात् पतन्तीं वै महेश्वर: । दधार शिरसा गड्जां तामेव दिवि सेवते,भगवान् महेश्वरने आकाशसे गिरती हुई परम पवित्र गंगाजीको सिरपर धारण किया, उन्हींका वे स्वर्गमें सेवन करते हैं
mahāpuṇyāṃ ca gaganāt patantīṃ vai maheśvaraḥ | dadhāra śirasā gaṅgāṃ tāmeva divi sevate ||
ကောင်းကင်မှ ကျဆင်းလာသော အလွန်မြတ်သော ကုသိုလ်ပြည့်ဝသည့် ဂင်္ဂါမြစ်ကို ဘဂဝန် မဟေရှဝရသည် မိမိ၏ ဦးခေါင်းပေါ်တွင် ထမ်းဆောင်တော်မူ၏။ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ပင် ထိုဂင်္ဂါကိုပင် လေးစားစွာ ဆည်းကပ်၍ သောက်သုံးကာ ဂုဏ်ပြုတော်မူသည်—ဤသည်မှာ သန့်ရှင်း၍ လောကတို့အတွက် အကျိုးရှိသောအရာကို နတ်ဘုရား၏ ထိန်းသိမ်းသန့်စင်နိုင်သော အင်အားဖြင့် ထောက်ပံ့တော်မူခြင်းကို ဖော်ပြသည်။
